72% Linen 28% Cotton
This yarn has been woven in Italy’s Pistoia district, by Toscano: a company that cares about its impact on people and the environment. They adhere to the Global Recycle Standard, so half of their cotton is recycled, meaning it has been made from regenerated production waste. Regenerating waste puts it through a process that stresses and weakens the fibers. For this reason, it must be blended with virgin fibers - we chose linen and organic cotton. Linen is one of nature’s most durable fibers, with insulating and thermoregulatory properties. Organic cotton is pure, genuine and chemical-free. The result is a cool, soft fabric that’s kind to the world.

Care
This garment can be washed in the washing machine, on a low spin cycle that doesn’t exceed 30°C. Lay it out flat to dry to ensure it keeps its shape well.
Linen is particularly durable, but if you’d like to be even gentler, wash it by hand: leave to soak, rinse it out and wrap it in a towel before wringing out excess water to preserve the natural fibers.
Last tip from us: be conservative with the detergent and softener, there’s no need to overdo it. Store the clean folded garment in a cool dry place.

Design
Great craftsmanship begins with premium quality ethically-sourced materials, giving you a garment that will last a lifetime. It’s made using single-ply yarn and knitted at 7 gauge thickness. The gauge refers to the number of needles per inch on the needle bed. The higher the number of needles, the finer the yarn needs to be.
Drop stitching the yarn makes the garment more refined and well-balanced. Drop stitching means lowering the needles in the machine to create curves in the knit without using scissors: a premium technique that guarantees less waste.
It is garment-dyed:this artisanal technique lends a casual look and a soft hand. The sweater is then submerged in special tanks of carefully selected pigments, producing a relaxed and unique garment. A second wash then adds that vintage look.

Made in Italy
We’ve always put our trust in the hands of the best local craftsmen. Afterall, Italy itself is like a huge open-air workshop. Made in Bagnacavallo, in the Ravenna province, this sweater was created in a workshop owned by Gilberto. His knitwear company has been spinning top quality yarns since 1995, combining research and passion to produce excellence. To date they have over three thousand designs, created through continual experimentation with new yarns. For durable pieces made in a variety of textures and thicknesses.
