When not being worn, the coat should be kept on a strong and sturdy coat hanger with the pockets emptied so that the sleeves, shoulders and pockets are not distorted.

If it has been worn in the rain, let it air dry once inside, ensuring it is kept away from heat sources so the fabric stays fresh and new.

What you’re looking at is a throwback to jackets worn by US college athletes in the ‘80s: the varsity jacket, distinguished by its elasticated collar, wrists and hem. 

For greater protection from the cold, it’s padded with a material made from soft and lightweight synthetic fibers.

The metal zipper is made from aged galvanized brass, with an inner placket added underneath. This extra vertical strip of fabric prevents the cold air from getting in.
