The quintessential summer fabric, comfortable and cool. Linen fibers are naturally durable, hypoallergenic, and breathable. We used a slub weave fabric: the threads used in the weave have different thicknesses, noticeable from its slightly irregular texture, creating movement. Inside, a cotton lining provides reinforcement and helps the shoe maintain its shape over time.

The artisan's keen eye inspects the linen canvas, checks for imperfections, and cuts it. Then, they sew the edges: the cotton trims that prevent the fabric from fraying. This work requires the care and dexterity of experienced hands.

Strobel construction makes for a particularly lightweight and flexible shoe that suits casual style. 

The process begins with careful study of the leather; after finding the best part, the artisan cuts and shapes it round the last to form the upper. This is then delicately hammered to smooth down the seams and soften the parts that come into contact with the foot. Now the outsole can be attached and the shoe is ready to be finished and polished.

Vibram is an example of Italian excellence that has revolutionized performance in both outdoor and leisure footwear, starting with their 1937 creation of the lug sole. We put our trust in their hands for an insulating, durable and non-slip rubber outsole surrounded by a strip of white rubber, producing a comfy and lightweight shoe.

Production is based in Montegranaro, in the Marche region, where the tradition of shoemaking has deep roots. For a product that lasts, we only select leathers that age well and put our trust in people who have been in this industry for generations.
